Sheet-metal routes for custom parts and assemblies.

Sheet-metal work can be sourced and coordinated as part of an agreed project, including work that supports your CNC-machined components. The quotation identifies the outside work and who handles it. For standalone requirements, Evan may instead introduce you to an independent supplier.

Prototype and cutting options

Sheet-metal prototypes

Prototype sheet-metal parts can help evaluate mounting points, clearance and assembly access. Include any forming, joining or finishing needed for the complete part.

Laser cutting

Laser cutting produces cut profiles and openings. Identify the material, thickness, edge requirements and any work needed after cutting.

Waterjet cutting

Waterjet cutting is a route for cut profiles and openings. Include material requirements, the required cut condition and any later machining or finishing.

Agree the finished-part requirements.

Cut profiles may also need forming, joining, finishing or inspection. Include the finished-part requirements so the quotation can address the complete project.

Profile and openings · Forming and finishing · Inspection and delivery

The quotation sets out the operations and responsibilities included in our scope.

From the cut profile to the finished part.

Beyond a flat profile

Include forming, joining or assembly work when a flat profile alone will not complete the part.

Surfaces ready for the intended use

Specify the required edge condition, surfaces and checks for the intended use.

Confirm the project arrangement.

We agree which outside operations we will coordinate. If the work is referred independently, that supplier confirms its quotation, schedule and delivery directly with you.

Request a Quote for the complete project, including any outside processes you need. Evan will discuss whether we can coordinate that scope or whether an independent introduction is more appropriate.
