Additive routes for models, fit checks and parts.

Additive manufacturing can be sourced and coordinated as part of an agreed project, including work alongside CNC machining. The process and material are selected for the part, and the quotation identifies who handles the scope. Standalone requirements may instead lead to an introduction to an independent supplier.

A part-making route with the purpose built in.

Choose the role of the part

Define whether the priority is appearance, assembly fit or a functional requirement before selecting the proposed process.

Connect material and process

Evaluate the material, geometry and processing route together with the proposed provider.

Set the acceptance requirements

Identify the checks and records needed for the intended use rather than relying on the appearance of a sample.

Choose the purpose before the print.

Additive work is coordinated through outside suppliers for a defined model, assembly check or proposed component.

Visual model · Assembly check · Proposed end-use part

Each use needs its own outside-supplier scope; a model or fit check does not establish end-use suitability.

What does the part need to do?

A visual model

Focus the proposed build on the shape, scale and presentation details needed for a design discussion.

An assembly check

Bring mating features, clearances and component relationships into the build scope for evaluation.

An end-use component

Evaluate material and process suitability against the defined application and its acceptance requirements before use. A visual model or fit check does not establish end-use suitability.

Request a Quote for the complete project, including any outside processes you need. Evan will discuss whether we can coordinate that scope or whether an independent introduction is more appropriate.
